Hey sweet peas!!
I hope you’ve had a great week and ready for the weekend! Today I’m going to be sharing some cracking recipes with you! But first, I have a very fun event I’d love to tell you all about…
My beautiful, wonderfully talented friend, Verna Gao (@vernahungrybanana), has organised a Supper Club pop-up on the 15th of February to celebrate Lunar New Year, and it’s going to be phenomenal! She’ll be serving up an 8-course meal (picture pan-fried baos, sticky fish fragrant aubergine, and fried milk black sesame ice cream - see below for the full menu!!) at Hatch Homerton in London for £60! It’s going to be a feast for the senses, and I am SO excited for my tummy to be spoiled rotten. So, come along and join Verna, me, and loads of foodies for a fabulous evening! Get your tickets here!!

Okay, now I’ve shared that very exciting event, onto the weekly round up! If you’ve never heard of a chopped salad sandwich, you’re in for a treat. They’re my new favourite way of assembling sandwiches because you get all the flavours in one bite. See below for some tasty ideas…
TASTY RECIPES FOR Y’ALL
Bánh Mì Chopped Salad Sandwich - The chopped salad trend has gone viral and so I had to combine it with my favourite sandwich of all time, the Vietnamese Bánh Mì. Every bite is bursting with flavour and honestly, it’s so easy to make. You’ve got fried marinated chicken things, picked cucumber, carrot, and red onion, coriander, mint, sriracha mayo, chilli oil, and pâté. It’s hands down my new favourite sandwich, so give it a go and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Marry Me Chicken Chopped Salad Sandwich - This is my Marry Me Chicken Chopped Salad Sandwich and it is so delicious that you'll be eating it on repeat. Filled with juicy chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, a creamy almost addictive sauce, lettuce, rocket (arugula), basil, and parmesan, this sandwich would please anyone.
Baked Ziti with Ground Turkey - This easy Baked Ziti with Ground Turkey is comfort food at its finest. The creamy tomato sauce is better than any other sauce because it's homemade and super simple to make. The sauce is combined with ground turkey, pasta (ziti), and then topped with cheddar cheese and mozzarella for a golden cheesy finish.
Vietnamese-Inspired Chilli Oil - This Vietnamese-Inspired Chilli Oil is packed full of aromatics and flavours. It's essentially a lemongrass and chilli oil sauce that is perfect for drizzling over dumplings, noodles, pasta, or anything you fancy!
That’s it for this week my little chickpeas! Let me know if you give any of my recipes a go! Once again, thank you for all the support and see you next week!
