A Little Catch Up
Hey gang, I have three main personalities:
the gardener
the chef
the sports fan

The three images above depict my three personalities.
The Gardener: I say this…very loosely because I am learning…very slowly. The photo of me here, was on my birthday (a few days ago), and it’s me planting my new dahlia tubers AND discovering that my old dahlia tubers had not in fact died (hooooraaaaah).
The Chef: this takes up 99% of my working hours. It is my passion and my job (I’m very lucky). The image of me in a gingham dress in front of a beautifully set table was during a very fun event. Over a 3 day period, I developed a set of recipes for 70 guests. It was a collaboration with Alpro to announce that they now source their oats from 100% British farmers (fabulous). It was stressful, it was fun, and I continue to love what I do (so thank you for being here to support).
The Sports Fan: I’ve nearly watched all of the Netflix sports docuseries (Tour de France: Unchained got Henry and me into cycling), not because I was into any of the sports in particular, but because the series’ are SO DAMN good. I’ve been rather disappointed lately with the lack of female-centric sports docuseries so when I got invited to the F1 Academy premier, I leapt out of my seat. The series follows a number of young women who are breaking barriers in one of the world’s most demanding sports. It’s awesome, it’s one to watch with the children to inspire…I highly recommend.
Now let’s get into the food…
5 Ramen Hacks That I Think You’ll Love
I adore instant ramen. These are some fun ways I like to cook with it!
Recent Recipes!
Dumpling Bake - Dumpling bakes have been super popular recently, and for good reason. They're all made in one tray, really easy to make, and are so incredibly delicious. This recipe is my dumpling tteokbokki bake (spicy dumpling rice cake bake), inspired by Korean Tteokbokki. It's spicy, silky, and perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.
Cheesy Crespelle - These Cheesy Crespelle with Harissa Butter are stuffed with a spinach and ricotta filling. It's my take on the Italian dish Crespelle - a Tuscan recipe that's inspired by French crêpes. The layered savory pancakes are grilled until the cheese is melted and golden, and then served with a harissa butter, fresh dill, and parsley. Phenomenal.
Air Fryer Hash Browns - These Air Fryer Hash Browns are crispy on the outside and soft and light on the inside. They're one of my favourite breakfast dishes to make and only take 10 minutes to prepare.
I hope you enjoyed the recipes. Let me know if you give any of them a go!
Have a gorgeous weekend and I’ll see you next week.
