Happy Friday friends! I hope you’ve all had a fabulous week. :)
Okay, so I don’t know about you, but one of my FAVE cosy and comforting autumnal dishes to make is a loaded mashed potato bowl. I’m talking seriously creamy mashed potato, topped with roasted veggies and a flavour bomb sauce to top it all off. This week I made one with a honey harissa yoghurt sauce and oh my goodness it was SO good (if I do say so myself). I didn’t share it on social media, because it’s one of those dishes that doesn’t look great but tastes FAB. So, if you fancy making it (only takes around 20 mins), check out the recipe on my website here!
On top of this autumnal recipe, I thought I’d share some more easy dinner ideas for the weekend or to have midweek next week! Perfect for the colder weather :)
Now for the recipe round up from this week! Three TASTY recipes for you all…
RECIPE ROUNDUP
PUMPKIN SPICED FLATBREADS - You guys know that I adore my stuffed flatbread recipes, so I had to make one for halloween using the humble pumpkin! These flatbreads are stuffed with a homemade pumpkin spiced filling, they’re the perfect dessert for a halloween feast! You can find the recipe in the caption on my Instagram here!
SPICY PEANUT BUTTER MISO NOODLES - The weather is cold and rainy (here in London anyway), so it’s the perfect time to make this comforting bowl of noodle soup. This was a collaboration with Verna Gao (Author of ‘Have You Eaten?’) and it was absolutely delicious! Go check out the video and recipe here!
PIEROGI WITH A MUSHROOM & POTATO FILLING - Pillowy, soft, potatoey, mushroomy dumplings that you’re going to absolutely LOVE! I went over to Natalia Rudin’s (aka Nats Nourishments) last week and we made these incredible pockets of joy. The recipe is simple and the result is delicious. Go check out the recipe here!
If you make any of the recipes, don’t forget to let me know! I love receiving all your photos and messages!
Have a gorgeous weekend filled with friends and food!
See you next week my little dumplings,
Em xx
