A Little Catch Up
Growing up when I lived in France, we used to bake bread on the reg with the help of Richard Bertinet’s cookbook Dough.
Since then, my focus has shifted from bread-making to simple meals that are inspired by dishes, ingredients, and flavours from around the world. So the majority of my recipe testing days revolve around savoury and exciting dishes that are accessible and easy to make.
However, on this random Wednesday, I thought it would be fun to make focaccia; a deliciously fluffy, doughy bread. And it turned out SO good.

A few of you have already asked me for the recipe, so I’ll be sharing more on this very soon. But for now, just enjoy the beauty in the photos above: a focaccia photo-shoot.

This Week’s Recipes!
This easy Miso Soup with Mushroom recipe is a comforting, warming bowl, perfect for a midweek dinner. All you need is vegetable broth, white miso paste, shiitake mushrooms, and any other add-ons you'd like. It's a personal favourite when I've had a rough day, so I hope you enjoy it!
Buffalo & Blue Cheese Chicken Stuffed Peppers
This Ground Chicken Stuffed Peppers recipe is such a great midweek dinner or perfect for meal prep. It's seasoned with buffalo sauce and topped with a blue cheese sauce. It's my boyfriend's favourite stuffed pepper recipe so give it a go and I hope you enjoy it!
Butadon (Japanese Pork Rice Bowl)
This Butadon recipe aka Japanese-Style Pork Rice Bowl is one of my favourite comfort foods. The pork belly is fried in a soy sauce, mirin, sake, and honey sauce that turns out glossy and rich. Served on a mountain of short-grain rice and topped with an egg yolk and chives, it's a recipe I really think you'll love.
As always, let me know if you give any of these recipes a go! Feel free to leave a comment on the website, send me an email, or DM me on Instagram.
Have a gorgeous weekend and see you next week!
