Hello fellow dumpling lover!
First off, I just want to thank you for your ongoing support. It truly means the world to me and has led me down a very exciting path that is totally WILD.
I thought it would be fun to keep you updated on my biggest project yet, aka my debut cookbook ‘The World Is Your Dumpling’, because you’re the reason why I’ve had the opportunity to write a book in the first place. So, it’s only right that you get all the goss and insider knowledge (hehe).
Earlier this week, my publisher told me that independent book sellers have asked for MORE orders because they’re so excited about the book. This is huge, and it’s all because you guys are ordering away. You pre-ordering the book, makes a seismic difference to the overall hype around the book and also makes me unbelievably happy. The book has now also officially gone out to print, so I’ll share the video with you next week to show you the whole printing process (it’s so cool!!).
If you have ordered the cookbook, then I’m sending over a big forehead kiss to you!!! If you haven’t yet, please please do. The book is full of 80 dumpling recipes for when you fancy something quick and easy, hearty and wholesome, or sweet and delicious. It also makes for the perfect food-lovers gift.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Aubergine (or eggplant depending on where you’re reading this from) is one of the internet’s most disliked vegetable. It’s actually joint 3rd (with celery) in the UK for the most hated veggie (according to Higgidy’s nationwide report). But I wonder how much of that is not because we don’t like it, but because it hasn’t been cooked in a way to bring out its underlying flavours and textures.
Countries around the world celebrate the aubergine. It’s the star of the show in Levantine baba ghanoush, Italian eggplant parmigiana, and Indian brinjal curry (to name a few). And if anyone in their right mind, tried any of these dishes, they’d probably bloody love them.
So, to do the aubergine justice and for you to have a recipe that you can make within 20 minutes, I made a gorgeous gochujang eggplant skewer situation and boy oh boy, I think you’re gonna love it.
Gochujang Aubergine Skewers - It comes together in less than 20 minutes and is such a crowd-pleaser. The sauce is super simple and only requires 5 ingredients.
Chinese Steamed Eggs - This has to be one of the simplest yet satisfying meals you could make. Topped with sesame oil, soy sauce, chili oil, chives, and green onions, and served with sticky rice, I think you're going to love it.
The BEST Fish Tacos with Mango Salsa - These are my fish tacos with mango salsa that take around 15 minutes to make. I've also served these grilled fish tacos with a homemade cilantro avocado sauce and topped the tacos with pickled red onions. The flavours are unreal and it's a really simple recipe so I hope you enjoy it!
That’s it for this week my friend! As always, you can find all of my recipes on my website at myriadrecipes.com so feel free to browse and pick out a few ones that you fancy making!
Speak soon and have a fantastic weekend!

P.S. Don’t forget to pre-order my book! Let me know if you do!! x
